Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is one of  the various methods to identify and evaluate the hazards.   Methods   This case study was carried out in Abadan seismic field. Data gathering and completion  of the JSA worksheets were carried out through one-to-one observations, interviews,  photography, video tape recording, historical data and checklists.   Results   Ten tasks, 55 steps, 155 hazards and 301 corrective and prevention actions were identified during this study to be eliminated.   Conclusion   Based on findings¡ an Emergency Response Plan and 10 safe operation procedures were developed.
