Iran Occupational Health journal is committed to maintaining research integrity, accessibility, and the verifiability of the Published Scholarly Record, and supports appropriate principles for the preservation, protection, and access to research data.
Preservation and Protection of Research Data
Authors are responsible for the appropriate preservation of research data, documentation, methods, and other data and supporting information related to their articles. Authors should retain their research data and documentation for a reasonable period following publication and, upon reasonable request from the journal, reviewers, or competent authorities, provide access to and facilitate the examination of such materials, subject to applicable ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
Access to and Sharing of Research Data
Iran Occupational Health journal supports transparency, access to, and sharing of research data, where ethically, legally, and practically feasible.
Authors are encouraged to deposit the research data supporting the results and findings of their articles in a reputable Data Repository. Where a repository is used, information about the repository and the Persistent Identifier of the data, such as a DOI, should be provided in the article or in the Data Availability Statement.
Research data should, where possible, be preserved and presented in a manner that facilitates the accessibility, verification, reproducibility, and reuse of research findings, within the applicable requirements and restrictions.
Restricted and Sensitive Data
The journal recognizes the importance of protecting confidentiality, privacy, and the rights of individuals and organizations in the process of sharing research data.
Where data cannot be publicly shared due to ethical considerations, confidentiality, privacy protection, legal requirements, intellectual property rights, or other justified restrictions, authors should transparently state the relevant limitations and, where possible, the conditions for accessing the data in the Data Availability Statement.
In research involving human participants, data containing identifiable information should be managed through Anonymization or, where necessary, Controlled Access, in a manner that prevents the identification of individuals without appropriate authorization.
Data Availability Statement
Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement in their articles and to specify how the data supporting the results and analyses reported in the article can be accessed.
As applicable, the statement may indicate that:
the data are available in a publicly accessible and reputable repository;
the data have been deposited in a repository and can be accessed through a Persistent Identifier, such as a DOI;
the data are available from the corresponding author upon Reasonable Request;
the data are provided within the article or as Supplementary Materials; or
the data are not publicly available due to ethical, legal, confidentiality, privacy, or other justified restrictions, and the applicable conditions or limitations on access should be stated.

Published articles, Corrections, Expressions of Concern, and Retractions, where applicable, will be recorded and published transparently and in a traceable manner through the journal’s platform, ensuring that the publication history and scholarly status of each article remain accessible and traceable to readers and researchers.
