زمینه و هدف: مطالعه حاضر باهدف تعیین رابطه بین راهبردهای شناختی تنظیم هیجان و فرسودگی شغلی با نقش میانجی استرس شغلی در کارکنان بهزیستی صورت گرفت.

روش بررسی: روش مطالعه، همبستگی و جامعه آماری شامل تمامی کارکنان اداره کل بهزیستی استان خراسان جنوبی در سال 1398 بود (1350 نفر). 228 نفر با شیوه نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب و پرسشنامه‌های فرسودگی شغلی مسلش (1981)، استرس شغلی (HSE) و تنظیم شناختی هیجان گارنفسکی و همکاران (2001) را تکمیل نمودند. داده¬های پژوهش با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اس پی آس اس و لیزرل و شاخص‌های آمار توصیفی، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل مسیر تحلیل شدند.

یافته‌ها: نتایج آزمون الگوی پیشنهادی اولیه حکایت از عدم برازش این الگو داشت که با تعدیل‌های صورت گرفته، شاخص‌های کلی برازش کلی این الگو تائید شد (10.58 = χ 2، 5 =df ، 0.07 = RSMEA، 98/0GFI = ، 0.930AGFI = ،0.98 CFI =).
نتیجه گیری: نتایج حاصل از مدل تأییدشده در پژوهش حاضر، حاکی از آن است که رابطه راهبردهای شناختی تنظیم هیجان و فرسودگی شغلی یک رابطه خطی و ساده نبوده و استرس شغلی در این رابطه نقش واسطه‌ای دارد  بنابراین ارائه کارگاه هایی جهت ارتقا تنظیم هیجان و همچنین مدیریت استرس شغلی می تواند به کاهش فرسودگی شغلی کارکنان بهزیستی کمک نماید.
